Officer?

The roads out here aren't marked for speed limits. Well, some are. Just not most. We ARE in the country. I figured this meant you could "pick" your speed. A friendly Wood County Officer informed me that this was NOT the case, shortly after pulling me over about one block from our house. In fact, if the corn had been cut, Kevin would have seen it as he was sitting on the back porch. He noticed my out-of-state plates (still Colorado at the time) and cut me some slack, even though he clocked me at 68 in a 55. I now have a WI driver's license and plates. Shoot, no more get-out-of-jail-free cards.
